Each year many men miss out on crucial, lifesaving screening tests.  This year many men have postponed their annual physicals and doctors appointments due to the ongoing concern with COVID-19.  Getting annual screenings and check ups is crucial to overall health, wellness, and lifespan.  Listen to this episode to prepare for your return to the doctor’s office.

Remember, men with prostate cancer are more likely to die with prostate cancer than from prostate cancer.  That means that men with prostate cancer must be vigilant in getting screened for more common killers like heart disease, lung cancer, and stroke. The good news? Men can be conveniently screened for these common maladies while they are already in the doctor’s office for their required post-treatment surveillance.

A lot of these serious conditions are silent (like prostate cancer) and when symptoms do present, it may be too late.  The screenings and interventions mentioned in the podcast can help detect and prevent these life threatening issues at the earliest stages.
